Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Monday said that some media personnel are considered to be credible; however, sources of some media personalities need to be questioned. The Punjab Law Minister was talking to media outside the Punjab Assembly. He said that an anchorperson who claimed that Imran Ali, the main suspect in Zainab murder case, has 37 bank accounts. "Everyone knows from where these people's strings are pulled," the provincial minister said. "It needs to be investigated who gave this "information" to him (Dr Masood), and on whose signals these people try to mislead people," Sanaullah said. He said that the powers behind the anchorperson tried to spread anarchy.

The provincial law minister said he has requested the chief justice to take notice of the trend of such baseless news, adding that an impression is being given that a gang was involved in Kasur after the main suspect, Imran Ali, was arrested in Zainab's murder. He added that this is tantamount to misleading the entire nation. "I want the matter to reach its logical conclusion."

While responding to the question about former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, he said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President only criticizes judiciary's decisions not the judiciary itself.

Law minister Rana Sanaullah While responding to the questions of the opposition in Punjab Assembly regarding Zainab's murder case said that the matter is sub judice and he will not talk much on it. However, he asked opposition leader Mian Mehmood Ur Rashid that government is ready to listen to the proposals of the opposition regarding stopping such kind of incidents in future. Earlier 34th Session of the Punjab Assembly started four hours late under the chair of Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal. Questions relating to the Transport and Environment protection departments were answered during the session. The speaker adjourned the session till 10am (today).
